Applause’s Exceptional Work Environment Validated by High ESAT Scores… Again

As was the case in 2020, Applause is very proud of its 2021 employee satisfaction (ESAT) results, with a net promoter score (NPS) of 62. Key employee themes from the survey include exceptionally high sentiment regarding: equitable treatment of employees by managers; employees feeling valued by the company; Applause being on the right path to commercial success; and the company prioritizing customers in day-to-day operations.

ESAT ties to our culture code

We realize that our success as a company and a category leader is a direct result of the passion of our employees. Prior to the pandemic, Applause had a very strong culture fostered by close collaboration in the office. However, we quickly adapted to change, moving from an office-first culture to 100% remote. We’ve seen indicators of an enhanced culture through the last year and a half of remote work. This is clearly a result of our strong culture code and our collective employee attitude, making the switch so seamless. It also shows we were able to take the philosophy and success of our distributed global community of testers to our own employees.

The market agrees; Applause is a great place to work

As mentioned in this job satisfaction survey summary, 21% of companies have higher profits because of engaged employees. This is a tremendous statistic, and it plays into how we help the world’s top brands deliver remarkable digital experiences, and why we have been honored with a variety of workplace awards over the years:

ESAT means a great place to work – and is the foundation for our customer success

What is the bottom line regarding ESAT? First, when you have carefully built a culture that fuels repetitive high ESAT scores, it becomes a self-propagating cycle. That’s not to say that once you have a great ESAT, it will never change; we work constantly to engage in a collective dialogue on ways to continually improve. Happy employees are contagious. Their happiness spreads to their friends and professional networks. Ultimately – the reason we exist – our customers are the benefactors of our high ESAT. It’s a win-win situation that we’re very proud of.

Do you want ESAT to mean something more to you?

Do you believe in open communication at all levels of the organization? Diversity? Like fun in your work environment?

We’re proud of our team and how our contagious employee satisfaction translates into a culture of passion and innovation that enables us to help some of the world’s greatest brands deliver exceptional products.

We’re always on the lookout for motivated professionals to join our winning team! Find out more about Applause, and take a look at the current career opportunities we have around the globe.
