Applause Named One of Built In’s Best Places to Work in U.S.

Workplaces are changing to accommodate global challenges, delivering a new emphasis on remote work. However, while the work locale might change, it is more important than ever to provide excellent employee experiences — and Applause prides itself on that accomplishment.

Built In recently unveiled its 2021 Best Places to Work lists. Applause earned a spot on its 100 Best Large Companies to Work For, a national list of top employers. Built In used an algorithm to help select award recipients that offer great benefits, perks and salaries for employees.

Applause earned high marks from Built In for: competitive salaries, generous vacation time, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) matching, performance bonuses, work anniversary gifts and volunteer opportunities.

These employee benefits and perks come at a time of several global financial, political and health stresses. It’s no small challenge to keep employees engaged with their work and connected with their team members. Applause takes pride in its executive-level communication, employee bonuses and social events as a means of showing our employees we appreciate them.

The Built In distinction is the first workplace award for Applause in 2021. Applause was previously recognized as one of the best workplaces in 2020 by Inc. Magazine, Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe.

Inc. recognized Applause as a standout among 3,000 workplace submissions in its Best Workplaces of 2020. The Inc. employee survey pulled together employee opinions in areas such as trust, management effectiveness, perks and confidence in the future.

Boston Business Journal acknowledged Applause on its 2020 Best Places to Work list. Applause ranked in the medium-sized category, for businesses between 100 to 249 employees.

For the third consecutive year, the Boston Globe named Applause to its Top Places to Work list in 2020. The Boston Globe collected anonymous employee surveys to gauge employee satisfaction with benefits, leadership and other criteria.

In addition to an outstanding workplace for employees, Applause is a leader in innovation for software development and testing.
