Michael Giacometti

Michael Giacometti draws upon more than 25 years of experience in quality assurance and quality engineering to create solutions that bring together all Applause offerings. Michael helps customers get high-quality products to market that have meaningful effects on business and technical outcomes.

Before joining Applause, Michael worked for QA product startups and software testing tool companies such as Mercury Interactive and Eggplant. He led large testing teams for Cognizant in its banking, telecom and life science practices. He worked as a solution architect at Qualitest and most recently led the solution engineering, technical support and customer success teams at Code Climate, a software engineering intelligence management company.

He is a recognized writer and conference speaker on several QA topics, including data-driven QA management, cloud migration strategies and testing from the user experience.

He serves on several non-profit boards and committees, including advising Temple University on adding a quality assurance focus to its Master of Information Science and Technology program.
