Applause: Grateful To Serve the Communities Where We Operate

I look back at the past year with gratitude and amazement; it’s been a fortunate trend for me for a while now. And as we kick off a new year filled with opportunities to make a difference in the communities in which we work and live, I’m always grounded by the positive spirit and generosity of our global team at Applause.

I love my work at Applause because all through the year I see the results of our primary reason for existing — helping some of the world’s biggest brands provide the best digital experiences for their customers. That’s hard to top. In my work life, the only thing that I enjoy more is seeing how our employees around the world step up to contribute to charitable giving each year. I’m very grateful for this.

Each year, Applause participates in holiday giving programs across the globe. This year, as many families faced ongoing hardships due to the continuing pandemic, we came together to support our communities again. I’m proud to share some examples of our employees’ generosity.

  • The United Way’s Hope for the Holidays program - For the sixth year in a row, Applause has supported this program, this year, contributing $10,000 USD. We were contacted by the United Way and informed that our contribution - among others - made it possible for the United Way to ensure that every child on their list received gifts. In addition, all donations helped make it possible for the United Way to provide gifts to all the families who approached them.

  • Poland's Noble Gift charity action - Our Applause team in Poland participated in this national program which helps meet the needs of impoverished families. The team raised the equivalent of $2,600 USD and chose a local family which used the funds for a variety of household needs. In addition, we were able to help an elderly woman with some of her unmet needs for food and various household items.

Applause is proud to support charitable groups and looks forward to new opportunities to contribute to the welfare of the communities in which we operate around the world.
