We wanted to keep our company small and agile so we needed a solution that could work as an extension of our company and help us with our creative processes

Turkish Mobile Gaming company, Gram Games, has one goal; to have fun and to provide people with engaging mobile games.

Specializing in minimalistic but easy-to-learn mobile puzzle games, Gram Games has released a number of titles including Six!, Merged!, and Bounzy!. The simple yet engaging formula is popular with mobile gamers, with Gram’s most popular title—1010!—hitting a cumulative install rate of 85 million downloads over both the App Store and Google Play.

In the highly competitive mobile gaming market, everybody knows for a great gaming experience, the game must be bug free. Gamers are highly critical of any game that doesn’t deliver the goods … in other words, every game needs smooth gameplay that warrants repeated visits.

With a small internal QA team and continuous release cycles, Gram Games needed a testing solution that could maintain its agile and lean processes. At the same time, the company need to maintain its focus on creating the best gaming experience possible for it’s consumers.

In addition, the global gamer base meant that Gram needed a level of worldwide testing coverage that it simply could not reach with just internal resources.

In the video below, Gram Games’ product lead Cem Ocalan and quality assurance manager Sacit Sivri reveal how Applause’s community of over 300,000 testers help keep the mobile games bug free and provide gamers with the most enjoyable experiences possible.
