Applause Wraps up the Year with Gifts to Our Communities

Each year Applause generously participates in a variety of holiday giving programs across the globe. This year, as many families faced increased hardships due to the pandemic, we came together to support our communities again. I’m proud to share some examples of our employees’ generosity.

For the last few years, the team at our headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts has partnered with the United Way to support their Hope for the Holidays program. In previous holiday seasons, we provided over 200 children in the area with gifts. This year, we raised just over $6,500 dollars for Hope for the Holidays, sponsoring gifts for children whose families are struggling.

The Applause Warsaw team adopted a family in need through the charitable program Szlachetna Paczka (Noble Gift). One of the largest, most recognizable and effective social programs in Poland, Noble Gift creates personalized wish lists for different families based on their unique needs. Applause employees in Warsaw gathered over $1,000 in donations to check off everything on their adopted family’s wish list, including cleaning supplies, bedding, tools, shoes, jackets, toys, and non-perishable food items. Szlachetna Paczka volunteers delivered the gifts safely to the chosen family.

Faustyna Skrzypczak, office manager for Applause Warsaw said, “I got a very emotional response… The family was very surprised with the number of gifts and happy for every item they got. They’ve sent us an email to thank us again and wish us Happy Christmas.”

In the Berlin office, a team of Applause employees called Helping Hands participated in holiday giving for the third year in a row. The Helping Hands team partnered with Arche Engel to collect €1000, then purchased and wrapped more than 100 gifts for children. Arche Engel volunteers distributed the gifts to families in need.

Applause Nation is proud to support charitable groups in the communities where we operate — especially during a year where so many challenges and hardships were seen around the globe.
