Glen Walker is Applause’s Director of Accessibility. Since 2007, Glen has led digital accessibility efforts for organizations such as Charter Communications, Interactive Accessibility, and SAS. He is a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA), Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS), and a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). Since 2007, he has ensured website accessibility for various types of applications (HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Flash/Flex/Actionscript) based on the WCAG guidelines.

Glen has also taught accessibility classes. These include WCAG basics and how to use assistive technology such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, and Voiceover), and an ARIA class called "How to turn beautiful designs into accessible applications". Glen has worked with development and testing teams to evaluate and audit applications for accessibility. He also works with designers to ensure accessibility is built into applications from the very beginning of the SDLC. He has extensive experience producing detailed remediation plans that includes custom code suggestions for resolving issues. Glen and his team use a variety of testing tools as well as manual checking and code inspection.
